Key responsibilities: • Identify and define business needs and goals; • Collaborate proactively with business stakeholders and development team to - reach a common understanding of the solution to address the needs; • Interact with product managers on roadmap definition; • Suggest improvements and appropriate solution options; • Build and optimize algorithms while using machine learning techniques; • Track and report project progress; • Extend company’s data with third party sources of information when needed; • Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems; • Process, clean, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis; • Communicate the results of research to the product team; Requirements: • 2+ Data Science experience with Python; • Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as Generalized Linear Regression, Gradient Boosting, Extreme Gradient Boosting, K-nearest Neighbors, Support Vector Machines, Random forest etc; • Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL; • Experience with data visualization tools, such as PowerBI, Tableau, Plotly (python) etc; • Experience with common data science toolkits, such as Anaconda, GitHub, Docker etc; • Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression etc; • Good scripting and programming skills; • Great communication skills; • Data-oriented personality;
