See here for more information about the Council of Europe external presence.Your roleAs an Azerbaijani speaking Assistant, you will: process judgments, minutes, decisions and other documents of the Court; draft, format and finalise correspondence and other documents according to instructions; use applications database: enter and maintain case-related data in the Court Management Information System (CMIS) and in other case-management tools; handle and file mail and documents; keep electronic and paper files up-to-date; assist lawyers in preliminary legal analysis of cases; prepare and keep up-to-date lists and statistics related to cases; answer telephone requests for information; receive and guide visitors and applicants; attend training courses to acquire and deepen knowledge specific to the job.What we are looking forYou must: hold a completed full course of general secondary education and appropriate professional qualifications; have at least two years’ experience of secretarial duties or equivalent administrative experience; have an excellent knowledge of Azerbaijani (mother tongue level); have a very good knowledge of one of the Council of Europe’s official languages (English/French) and basic knowledge of the other (English/French); be a citizen of one of the member States of the Council of Europe and fulfil the conditions for appointment to the civil service of that state; have discharged any obligation concerning national service (military, civil or comparable); not be the parent, child, stepchild or grandchild of a serving staff member of the Council of Europe; be under the age of 65 years.Demonstrate to us that you have the following competencies:                                                   Professional and technical expertise: Wide and in-depth experience of secretarial duties, administrative operations and procedures; Proficient in the use of current office applications and databases; Planning and work organisation Teamwork and co-operation Concern for quality Adaptability Communication Learning and development Analysis and problem solvingThese would be an asset: Initiative Results orientation Service orientationWhat we offerIn Strasbourg, you will receive a basic monthly gross salary of €3 027 (B1) or €3 449 (B2)  which is exempt from national income tax.For more information on how to apply, please click follow: https://www.coe-recruitment.com/JobDetails.aspx?vacancyID=2165&Lang=En
