Junior Accountant

We’re looking for an Junior Accountant to join our growing team!
Your key objective: Maintain accurate financial records and support the finance team in all accounting operations.

Job responsibilities:
• Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and company ledgers.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll preparation.
• Identify and report financial discrepancies or irregularities to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, and prepare tax returns.
• Maintain and organize financial documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Stay updated on accounting standards, best practices, and regulations.

Skills and abilities:
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 1+ year of proven experience in accounting is required.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel is essential).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Working hours:
You’ll be working 5 days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (13:00–14:00 lunch time). Four days will be based in the office, and one day (Friday) you can work from home.
