Responsibilities
Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Python and Django.
Design and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) to ensure data integrity and performance.
Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and data processing logic for web and mobile applications.
Ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend services.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
Use Git and CI/CD pipelines to maintain streamlined deployment workflows.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape technical decisions.
Maintain awareness of new technologies and how they can be used to improve performance and code quality.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in backend development.
Proficiency in Python/Django for backend development.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and database optimization techniques.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to take initiative and work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Solid understanding of performance optimization (e.g., lazy loading, code-splitting, caching).
Solid grasp of security principles and best practices for web applications.
Nice to Have
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Django's built-in testing tools.
Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and containerization tools like Docker.
